CLT Registration Fees

 

Registration fees include Park entry fee, technical t-shirt, swim cap, ChampionChip timing, and post-race party.

All athletes must be either an annual USA Triathlon (USAT) member or purchase a one day USA Triathlon membership.

Refunds

A partial refund of your registration fee, minus $30, will be given up to July 9, 2012 for requests made to the race director (Jane Miller). After July 9th, no refunds will be given.

Athlete Transfers

Athlete transfers are allowed until July 9, 2012, but only if the athlete gets the permission of the race director (Jane Miller). It is the athlete’s responsibility to find a person to transfer their spot to for this race, not the race director's.

Fees for Individual Competitors:

  • SPRINT: $65 thru Jan 31, $75 Feb 1 to Mar 31, $85 as of Apr 1
  • INTERMEDIATE: $80 thru Jan 31, $90 Feb 1 to Mar 31, $100 as of Apr 1
  • YOUTH: $20

    Non-USA Triathlon Annual Members:
         Add $12 if you are 18 or older
         Add $10 if you are 17 or younger

Fees for Relay Teams (2 or 3 Person Teams):

  • SPRINT: $90 thru Jan 31, $100 Feb 1 to Mar 31, $110 as of Apr 1
  • INTERMEDIATE: $110 thru Jan 31, $120 Feb 1 to Mar 31, $130 as of Apr 1

    Non-USA Triathlon Annual Members:
         Add $12 if you are 18 or older
         Add $10 if you are 17 or younger

Age restrictions:

  • Intermediate Race: Individuals - 15 or older; Relay Team Members –13 or older.
  • Sprint Race: Individuals –12 or older; Relay Team Members –10 or older.
  • Youth Race: This race is for 11-14 year olds who want to compete individually in a shorter distance than our sprint distance race.

    Note: Your age is the age you will be on December 31, 2012.

Time Restrictions for Intermediate Distance Race:

  • Athletes are expected to be able to complete the intermediate distance race in 4.5 hours.
  • If you register for this race you should be able to complete the individual legs in approximately these times: Swim (1 hour); Bike (2 hours); Run (1.5 hours).
  • If you think it will take you longer on any one leg, we recommend you register for the sprint race. Please note we reserve the right to pull you from a leg if we anticipate you will not be able to complete the entire race in 4.5 hours.

Athletes 17 OR Younger:

A parent or guardian must electronically sign your on-line entry form.

Relay Teams:

If a relay team registers on-line, their team captain will be responsible for completing the registration information for each team member and for getting the on-line waivers signed by all the team members.

Number of Entries:

We have enough space in our transition area for 756 bikes. Depending on demand, the number of spots designated for each race distance may change as we get closer to the date of the race. Register early to ensure a spot for your preferred distance race.

  • SPRINT:
    Individuals: Initially capped at 384, but this may change due to demand.
    Relay Teams: capped at 36.
  • INTERMEDIATE:
    Individuals: Initially capped at 300, but this may change due to demand.
    Relay Teams: capped at 18
  • YOUTH:
    Capped at 18.
